#NewThingsThurs A Little More Natural

This week, we've got 3 new products to add to The Co-Op summer lineup that all look spot on, crisp, and not to expected.

Everything here is very summer afternoon paired down dapper. Contradiction? Maybe, just like denim bow ties. But I'm ok with that too.

The Anthropologist

Man. How I've totally neglected you my lovely blog. Now I'm back in action and have lots of lovely things to share with you lovely people. Perfect, right? Usually I try to limit my wild card randomness to one post per week, but since I'm a little behind right now, I'll jump ahead this week because something that just cannot wait came across my computer today.

Some of you may have heard, but Anthropologie launched an online project called the Anthropologist that serves for inspiration. No e-commerce. No links to encourage you to buy stuff you don't really need. No weird draws to blogs and other randomness. Just really good content waiting for you to discover!

Currently featured are director Jane Campion, filmmaker / photographer Andrew Zukerman, and photographer David Eustace.

If I could be in love with a website, this very well could be it.

Caught on the Web

I'm not sure if this is something that is widely popular and I'm just late or I'm more hip than most. I'm guessing the prior...

There's a new online retailer with a twist, and it's called Exuve. I know, I know. It seems like every online retailer has to have some kind of twist, gimmick, interactive something-or-other to even stay competitive these days. But this! This is pretty interesting.

Designers (classically trained, educated, pretenders, bloggers, whatever) are able to upload their ideas for a piece or a look including their inspiration. The online community votes. Winners get the look produced.

Plus up to $500 for your design. Not too shabby if you have no plans of producing the goods for your own collection or whatever else. Plus, mom will be proud and your bragging rights for the week will be well-earned.
