Introducing: The Tokyo Tie #PassportLife

The Tokyo Tie is one of those things that feels like a true labor of design love.

When I first saw this illustration of the Tokyo cityscape, I knew I had to figure out how to tie it into the summer assortment. At just about the same time the earthquakes hit Japan, I was placing my first order of swatches to get samples made for this tie.

As it turns out, I've been sitting on this design for quite some time now, but was waiting for the right moment to finally share this with you. I am exceedingly pleased with how great this rounds out our summer product lineup, but also exists as a  way to support a cause that I personally believe in.

For every Tokyo Tie sold on the site and in retail locations, we will give a percentage of the proceeds to the Passport Project's grant fund that subsidizes costs and barriers to young people getting passports. Getting the opportunity to expand your wold and explore is unmatched, and we want to be a part of that for the next generation of artists, makers, thinkers, and creators.
